Multibeam Hydrographic and Side Scan Sonar Surveys

Ocean Surveys was selected by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) to provide multibeam hydrographic and side scan sonar surveying services throughout the southeast United States. Representative task orders issued under this two-year contract included:

Winyah Bay Entrance, South Carolina - a 1,200 trackline mile, multibeam hydrographic and side scan sonar survey of a 5 x 5 mile area. Following completion of this delivery order, Ocean Surveys was awarded an overall rating of "Excellent".

Pamlico Sound, North Carolina - a 3,100 trackline mile single-beam hydrographic survey, augmented by 700 miles of side scan sonar data acquisition; completed in the fall of 2002.
